Light and Optics III, 3 cr-hrs, PHYS 6253. A lab course done at home using a light and optics kit on loan from UVa and low cost materials from home.

The syllabus is being updated and will be very similar.
The dates for each day will be adjusted for the change in the calendar year.

Lab Report Grading Policies

You must contact me to request an extension if your Lab report can not be submitted on time. Excuses without penalty are permitted only for illness, family illness, death, or religious holidays. Late homework submissions without a valid excuse as summarized above will be allowed with a penalty. Work not submitted will receive a zero (0 pts), far worse than a failing grade.

Grade Determination

Your final course letter grade is determined from averaging your numerical grade on the Lab reports.
